Witnesses still wanted after man makes indecent comments to boy
The man, believed to be around 40 years old, approached the boy and made “inappropriate comments of an explicit nature” while the pair were walking along Andover Road in Newbury on Sunday, September 2.
Police believe a man captured in CCTV footage (pictured) taken in Budgens store in Monument Close, Essex Street, at around the time of the incident could help with the investigation, and have asked him to come forward.
Police say it is not known for sure if the man was involved in the original incident, but may hold vital information.
Anyone with any information assisting to identify the man is asked to contact Dc Jason Watkins of Newbury Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and the caller will not go to court.
