Amelia Tuthill from Thatcham accused of affray and assault
A TEENAGER has been sent to the crown court on charges of violence and affray.
Amelia Tuthill appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 3.
The 19-year-old, of Poffley Place, Thatcham, faces three charges.
She is accused of affray by using or threatening unlawful violence such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for their personal safety.
Next, Ms Tuthill is charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
Finally, she is accused of assaulting Colum Morgan by beating him.
All the above offences were said to have been committed in Reading on November 25 last year.
Ms Tuthill, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, was told the case was being sent to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury sitting at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
She was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
