Thatcham woman Elizabeth Kernoghan accused of assaulting police officers

A WOMAN has been accused of assaulting two police officers.

Reading magistrates held a preliminary hearing into the case against Elizabeth Kernoghan on Tuesday, March 18.

The 46-year-old, of Meadow Close, Thatcham, is charged with assaulting officers Olivia Mann and Rebecca Earle, who were carrying out their duties, in Newbury on November 6 last year.

District judge Samuel Goozee adjourned the case until a later date when Ms Kernoghan will be expected to appear and to enter pleas to both charges.
