Newbury woman Michaela Cooper denies causing ABH to Jacob Oakley




A WOMAN is to go on trial accused of committing a serious assault on a male.

Michaela Cooper appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 11.

The 27-year-old, of Valley Road, Newbury, is charged with assaulting Jacob Oakley, thereby causing him actual bodily harm on Tuesday, May 23.

Ms Cooper spoke only to confirm her details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.

She was told the case could proceed no further that day and that it was being adjourned for a trial to be arranged.

Ms Cooper was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
