The 20-year-old, of St Michael’s Road, Newbury, admitted assaulting Isabella Martin, thereby causing her actual bodily harm

She further admitted two charges of assaulting a police officer, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and causing criminal damage to a police car.

All the offences were committed in Newbury on Saturday, April 26.

District judge Samuel Goozee adjourned for pre-sentence reports.

He stipulated these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody, and warned Brown that he reserved the right to send her case to be sentenced by a judge sitting at Reading Crown Court should he deem his own powers of punishment were insufficient, after reading the reports.

Brown was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
