The 39-year-old, of Home Straight, Newbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intent that someone should fear immediate, unlawful violence would be used against them in Market Place, Friday, October 13.

A charge of assaulting a police officer on the same occasion was withdrawn.

Magistrates made Ms Milling, who was legally represented at the hearing by Heulwen Everton, subject to a six months conditional discharge.

They made no order for costs but Ms Milling was required to pay a statutory victim services surcharge of £26.
