Woman airlifted to hospital following Hungerford collision





According to Thames Valley Police spokeswoman, Cindy Wrapson, emergency services were called at 6.57pm to the M4 eastbound between junctions 13 and 14, following a collision between a silver Toyota Avensis and blue Ford Focus, after one of the vehicles left the carriageway.
A woman trapped in the Ford Focus was cut from the vehicle by firefighters.
There were two casualties, one person with a head injury was air lifted to hospital in the Great Western Air Ambulance while the other person was taken to hospital by land ambulance with a back injury.
Both injuries were classed as minor and neither person was believed to be local, according to police.
The motorway was closed throughout the incident and re-opened at 10.52pm.
