Hungerford woman Jacqueline Tee assaulted Maria Atas

A woman has been sentenced for a sledgehammer offence and assault.

Jacqueline Tee appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 5.

The 47-year-old, of Coldharbour Road, Hungerford, initially denied, but subsequently admitted, committing a common assault on Maria Atas.

She further admitted having an offensive weapon, namely a sledgehammer, and damaging a door belonging to Ms Atas.

All the offences happened in Park Way, Hungerford, on July 12 last year.

Ms Tee, who was legally represented at the hearing by Jamie Renuka, was made subject to a 12-month community order.

In addition, she was ordered to pay £100 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.
