Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury woman caught drink-driving




A WOMAN has been banned from the roads for drink-driving.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 25, was Katherine Morris.

The 25-year-old, of The Broadway, Newbury, admitted driving a red Kia on London Road, Bracknell, on Sunday, September 18, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 58mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Ms Morris was fined £300.

In addition, she was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £120.

Finally, Ms Morris was banned from driving for 14 months.
