Lambourn woman Tina Bowyer caught drink-driving
A WOMAN has been banned from the roads after being caught drink-driving.
Tina Bowyer had drunk almost twice the legal limit.
On Tuesday, October 24, the 63-year-old, of Harris Close, Lambourn, appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court.
There, Ms Bowyer admitted driving a red Volkswagen Caddy on Mill Lane, Lambourn, on Tuesday, October 3, after drinking more than the legal limit.
Tests showed 60mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
Ms Bowyer, who was legally represented at the hearing by Jo Benn, was fined £120.
In addition, she was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £48.
Finally, Ms Bowyer was banned from driving for 20 months.
