The 22-year-old, of Little Orchard Park, Brimpton, admitted having a kitchen knife without good reason or lawful authority in Newbury on Tuesday, August 22.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared on Ms Hayes, who was legally represented at the hearing by Gianpaolo Damiani.

They requested they be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody.

She was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
