Reading Magistrates' Court: Mortimer woman cleared of serious assault
A WOMAN who denied a serious assault charge has been acquitted.
Emma Clucas-Richards had been charged with assaulting Valerie Scott, thereby causing her actual bodily harm.
The 40-year-old, of Damson Drive, Mortimer, was also charged with assaulting Sarah Carr by beating her, causing £150 worth of criminal damage to a mirror belonging to Valerie Scott and causing criminal damage to a fence.
She denied committing all four offences, said to have been committed in Mortimer on April 8 last year.
On Monday, March 20, the prosecution offered no evidence on any of them
Ms Cluclas-Richards, who was legally represented by Adonis Daniel, was formally acquitted.
