Ecchinswell woman Rosie Wells denies drug-driving
A WOMAN is to go on trial accused of driving after taking cannabis.
Rosie Wells appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 29.
The 31-year-old, of Oakfields Close, Ecchinswell, is charged with driving a Renault Clio on the A339 at Newbury on Sunday, April 23, when the amount of the Class B-controlled drug in her blood exceeded the specified limit.
Ms Wells, who was legally represented at the hearing by Albin and Co, spoke only to confirm her details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.
Ms Wells was told the case could proceed no further that day and would be adjourned for a trial to be arranged.
She was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
