Reading Magistrates' Court: Woman caught behind the wheel after drinking almost three times limit




A NEWBURY woman has been caught driving after drinking nearly three times the legal limit.

In the dock at Reaing Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 2, was Elzbieta Wincko.

The 35-year-old, of Thurlow Grange, admitted driving a Subaru Legacy on Park Way, Newbury, on Friday, January 21, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 201mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in her system.

The legal limit is 80mg.

Ms Wincko was fined £300.

In addition, she was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £34.

Finally, Ms Wincko was banned from driving for 20 months.
