Woman left with broken wrist in serious assault in Tilehurst
At around 2am, a man is reported to have been acting suspiciously outside Aberdeen House in Deveron Drive, Tilehurst.
A woman approached him to ask what he was doing and and an altercation between them broke out. It is thought others were also involved.
The man is then said to have grabbed the woman's arm and injured her.
Tests conducted at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, confirmed she had a broken wrist.
The woman is in her thirties, and has now been discharged from hospital.
The offender is described as white, aged between 20 and 23, around 6ft tall and of slim build, with short spiky brown hair, a chipped front tooth and red marks on the back of his neck. He was wearing a white Adidas top and dark trousers, and left the scene in the direction of Norcot Hill.
Police are urging any witnesses or anyone who may have information about this incident to contact them via the 24-hour 101 number.
