Former Thatcham woman Holly Jones locked up after driving dangerously
A WOMAN has been remanded in custody after causing a collision by driving dangerously.
Holly Jones appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 23.
The 23-year-old, formerly from Thatcham and currently living at Poppy Place, off Honey Bee Street in Calcot, was on early release from prison, and still subject to licence conditions, when she committed her latest offences.
Jones admitted driving an Alfa Romeo Stelvio dangerously, involving a collision with another vehicle, while knowing that it had been taken without the owner’s consent.
She further admitted driving without insurance and a simple offence of dangerous driving.
All three offences were committed in Hamilton Road, Reading, on April 30.
Jones, who was legally represented by Rajah Azam, was told that the court was awaiting a decision by the probation service on whether she would be recalled to prison or not as a result of the above offending.
District judge Samuel Goozee meanwhile denied Jones bail and remanded her in custody.
