Bradfield woman to run London Marathon to support her father
A Bradfield woman is taking on the London Marathon to support her father.
Lily Pearce, 24, is taking on the challenge on April 21 to support her father, Paul, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) last year.
She hopes to raise funds and awareness for this cause which is very close to her heart — and has already raised more than £7,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
She said: “Considering I have never run more than 5k before, this will be my toughest challenge yet.
“Please help me spread awareness and raise as much money as possible for this awful disease.”

Miss Pearce, who works as an events coordinator for a national charity, is donating all her funds to the MND Association’s Reading and West Berkshire branch which supports local families.
