Woman spat on and has hair pulled out in Tadley assault
Hampshire Constabulary have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened at 11.45pm, on Thursday, September 20.
The 26-year-old was walking along Shyshack Lane, when she was approached by a group of four men, all believed to be aged in their late teens, or early 20s.
One of the men, who was referred to as Aaron by the group, verbally abused the woman and spat in her face. Another man then pulled her to the ground by her hair.
The man referred to as Aaron was described as white, with short, dark hair, of a skinny build, and was wearing dark-coloured clothing. The other men were described as of similar appearance.
The woman was not injured, but was extremely shaken and a clump of her hair was pulled out.
Pc Martyn Evans said: “I am appealing directly to those involved to come forward and speak to police.”
“I am particularly keen to identify the man who was referred to throughout the incident as Aaron.”
