Hayley Solly stole from Newbury cancer charity shop




A WOMAN is waiting to be sentenced for a shoplifting spree.

Hayley Solly appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 30.

The 49-year-old, who is staying at the Two Saints hostel in Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted taking £15.08 worth of food from Lidl in Newbury Retail Park.

She further admitted stealing £12.48 worth of clothing from the Cancer Research charity store at the retail park.

Both those offences were committed on Wednesday, July 10.

Finally, Ms Solly admitted stealing £112.80 worth of cosmetics from Boots in Newbury on Monday, June 24.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.

They decreed these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody.

They meanwhile released Ms Solly on unconditional bail.
