Woman sustained facial injuries in Broadway night-time robbery

A woman was robbed in Thatcham Broadway last week.

She was wallking outside the Best Buds Florist when she was pushed from behind and fell to the ground on Friday at around 10.30pm.

The offender then demanded that she hand over money.

The woman sustained facial injuries as a result of this but did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Daisy Wells, based at Newbury police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
