Woman taken to hospital after car overturns at Snelsmore Common

A YOUNG woman was taken to hospital yesterday (Thursday) after a car left the road and overturned in woodland at Snelsmore Common.

South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) were called at 9.45am to the B4494 /Wantage Road and sent a rapid response vehicle and paramedics, after the car overturned.

A woman in her 20's was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. There are currently no further details as to her injuries from the ambulance service.

Newbury firefighters and police were also at the scene.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe before leaving at 10.17am.
