Woman who died after collision on B4000 is named




Thatcham woman died of her injuries on Thursday following a collision in October last year

A 21-YEAR-OLD woman who died more than three months after a road traffic collision near Hoe Benham last year has been named as Thatcham woman Emily Tear.

Miss Tear, of Horne Road, was the passenger in a silver Peugeot 206 which was in a collision with a silver Bentley Continental at the junction of Boxford and Hoe Benham on the B4000 at about 12.45pm on October 4, 2011.

She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious injuries, where she has since died as a result of her injuries last Thursday evening.

An inquest into Miss Tear's death was opened and adjourned at Oxfordshire Coroner's Court on Tuesday.

A date for a full inquest is to be arranged.
