Woolton Hill pupils enjoy £3,300 timber trail thanks to school's PTA

The trail was funded thanks to months of hard work by the school’s PTA, which raised almost £10,000 in 2014/15, from events such as discos, a film night and the annual Woolfest in the summer, involving local bands and camping in the school grounds.
“The school is extremely grateful to all of the staff, pupils and parents who have pulled together to re-invigorate the play area,” said deputy headteacher Ed Dawson.
The PTA has also funded new fencing around the trail and organised a grounds clearance day, removing compacted soil and laying down bark.
