Work on new Frilsham play area gets under way

The project, which is costing almost £50,000, is expected to be finished by the middle of August and will provide a new play area for toddlers, children and teenagers, including those with disabilities.
The new pieces of equipment will include a multiplay climbing area, a zip wire, a roundabout, large and small swings and a springer for toddlers.
It will also include seating where parents can watch their children, meet friends or rest and reflect.
The chairman of Frilsham Parish Council, John Goodenough, said: “I think the new recreation area is a wonderful project for the children of Frilsham and future generations.”
