Work underway on St Bart's extension

The extension will create a single storey area to be used for exams, independent study and extra performance space, as well as improving sports changing provision and providing additional storage room.
Hampshire-based Drew Construction Group have been appointed for the work, which is expected to be completed by the end of December.
The headteacher at St Bart’s, Christina Haddrell, said: “The extension to the school hall will provide St Bart’s with a versatile area which supports the school’s curriculum and complements school and community functions.
“The construction site is located at the rear of the school hall and the building programme has been carefully planned to minimise disruption to the school.”
All scheduled events at the school will continue as planned.
