The Royal Oak in Yattendon donates to West Berkshire Toy Appeal

One pub is making sure local children receive a present this Christmas.

The Royal Oak pub in Yattendon invited customers to take a tag from its Christmas tree, buy a gift and return it unwrapped in aid of the annual West Berkshire Toy Appeal – now in its 16th year.

Staff received overwhelming local support, amassing a varied selection of toys for different ages and genders. Pub staff delivered the toys on Monday, December 19, enabling more underprivileged children to receive a toy this Christmas.
