Yippee Ki‐Yay, ya filthy animal! Kennet School brings holiday season to life with ‘Christmas Actually’ show

Kennet School’s production of Christmas Actually enchanted audiences over two nights by combining the spirit of Love Actually with other classic including Home Alone, Nativity!, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Grinch, Miracle on 34th Street and Die Hard.
Pupils collaborated across various departments to bring the project to life.
Creative director Rebecca Preston explained: “None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication and creativity of so many people.
“A heartfelt thank you to the dance and drama departments for their tireless work in choreographing and staging each scene, bringing energy and emotion to every moment.
“The art and design department deserves special recognition for their stunning masks and puppets that have truly brought the magic of these stories to life.”
Headteacher Grace Rigg added: “It was wonderful to see the joy and excitement on the faces of both the performers and the audience.
“This event truly brought our school community together to celebrate the festive season.”
The school also thanks its parents and carers for their involvement with costumes, rehearsals and encouraging the young performers.
