Yippee Ki‐Yay, ya filthy animal! Kennet School brings holiday season to life with ‘Christmas Actually’ show




A Thatcham school has celebrated Christmas by performing some unforgettable moments from beloved holiday classics.

Kennet School’s production of Christmas Actually enchanted audiences over two nights by combining the spirit of Love Actually with other classic including Home Alone, Nativity!, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Grinch, Miracle on 34th Street and Die Hard.

Creative director Rebecca Preston explained: “None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication and creativity of so many people.

Headteacher Grace Rigg added: “It was wonderful to see the joy and excitement on the faces of both the performers and the audience.

The school also thanks its parents and carers for their involvement with costumes, rehearsals and encouraging the young performers.
