Youths damage cars in Kingsclere
Car number plate among items removed, with cars and property damaged overnight
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after cars and property in Kingsclere were recently damaged overnight.
Hampshire Constabulary said that overnight on Tuesday, October 25 and into the early hours of Wednesday, October 26, there were a number of incidents in Cedar Drive.
These included: a road sign being removed; damage to flower pots; damage to wing mirrors on several cars; and a number plate was removed from a car.
A group of six youths, three of whom were wearing light-coloured clothing and three of whom were wearing dark-coloured clothing, were seen in the area.
Pc Martyn Evans said: “This appears to have been an isolated incident but is has caused some disruption in the village. If you know who might have been responsible, please contact me.”
