Zumba instructors receive award after raising £2,500 for West Berks Mencap

Neil Daniel, Abby Head and Agnes Krysztofowicz were presented with the Fundraiser of the Year Award in front of the attendees of their latest sponsored zumbathon, held at Nuffield Health Centre, Newbury, on October 3.
The money raised will go towards West Berkshire Mencap’s Gateway service, which provides support and activities for adults with learning disabilities.
Fundraising manager at West Berkshire Mencap, Carrie-Anne Ferrie, said: “We are very grateful to Neil, Abby and Agnes for their hard work and commitment to raising funds for our Gateway service.
“They have arranged over the last two years six zumbathons, which have not only raised much needed funds but have also received wonderful feedback from everyone who has attended.
“They have given up their precious time for free to put on these events for us and promote them, which takes a lot of commitment and enthusiasm to be so successful.
“We really appreciate their ongoing support. They all are very deserving of this award.”
