I'll just keep "roughing it" thanks, plenty of out of the way places to be discreet about such things. Man got by for centuries with just a hole in the ground, sometimes it pays to remember what our ancestors did ;p
If the 20p means that there will be an attendant who will prevent damage and ensure the facility is clean then it is worth the cash. Otherwise, make it free.
Your survey is poorly constructed and heavily loaded. My response is that I'm not "Happy to pay 20p" as I've already paid for this facility through my council tax!

Maybe they could come up with a permit scheme so that locals can use them for free but outsiders that don't pay our council tax have to pay.
Sounds familiar doesn't it.
