Yes, the council has got to save money due to Government cuts and this is one of the budgets that must be reduced

    Where has this figure come from? I can see no mention of it in the WBC 2017/18 Budget Proposals on its website.

    A more useful poll would be to: a) cut £349,000 from the homeless budget, or b) raise council tax by a further £349,000 (which I think would need a referendum given increase is already at maximum) or c) cut £349,000 from [named alternative, e.g. social care]. Personally I would go for b).
