I think the LED lights are a good idea and will help shoppers
I think the LED lights are wrong for an historic place like Marsh Lane
I don't care
West Berkshire Council has approved an application to install state-of-the-art solar LED bricks outside one of the town’s oldest buildings.
The council gave the green light to the application from Parkway developer Standard Life Investments to lay the bricks in Marsh Lane – adjacent to Jack of Newbury’s house – despite concerns from its own conservation officer that it would be inappropriate.
SLI also wants to lay LED bricks in East Street in a bid to make both entrances to Parkway clearer and draw more visitors into the shopping centre.
What do you think of the decision?
