Aldermaston agony

Aldermaston are propping up the Counties 2 Tribute BBO South table following a 43-12 defeat at home to Abingdon.

Aldermaston are yet to win this season, having lost four times and forfeited their game against Beaconsfield II.

They make the short trip to sixth placed Hungerford – who sat out this weekend’s action – on Saturday.

Second placed Tadley were another side to sit out ahead of the visit of Reading II this week.

Elsewhere, Thatcham dropped to ninth in the Counties 1 Tribute Southern North table after a disappointing 24-16 defeat against strugglers Bletchley.

Thatcham will be looking to bounce back this weekend with a testing trip to Marlow.
