Bagshot dent Thatcham's record

Bagshot survived their 52 overs to total 228-9 with the tail wagging furiously as Sutherland (47), Grinstead (32 not out) and Dunnage (45) scored runs that were to prove frustrating to the visitors.
Duncan Johnson (3-32), Scott Gibson (2-29) and Josh O’Flynn (2-40) had seemingly given Thatcham the edge.
But that was blunted after openers Ross Schreiber (31) and Matt Denness (21) departed and it soon became a matter of survival as only Andy Rishton (10) and Jamie Young (18 not out) resisted as Thatcham struggled to 119-8 in 48 overs, Passfield snapping up 6-36 in 17 overs.
