Team Kennet’s Nathan Gillis ran a storming race to finish eighth in the under 15 boys’ race, and Newbury AC’s Alex Muir was the third runner home for the senior team in 86th place.
Team Kennet’s Michael Randall produced a good run to finish 49th in the under 20 men’s race and Yasmin Ryder and Georgina Bradford helped the under 15 girls team into 20th spot with their 71st and 255th placings and the senior women also finished 20th thanks to good team work from Newbury’s Jess Franklin in 96th place, Sophie Crumly 149th, Sue Van Huyssteen 199th, Chloe Coxhead 205th and Bev Hall 221st.
Sophie and Charlotte Fowler were the county’s first two runners home in the under 20 women's event in 114th and 126th places respectively.
