Gosport and Fareham at Monks Lane in last preparation for league kick-off
NEWBURY BLUES wrap up their pre-season programme tonight (Thursday) at Monks Lane when Gosport and Fareham are the visitors for a 7.30pm kick-off.
The match gives Lee Goodall and his coaching team a final chance to run the rule over the squad in advance of next Saturday’s South West One East kick-off at Trowbridge.
“We need to start defining our first team,” said Goodall, whose squad has several new arrivals, including former Basingstoke trio Chris Guyatt, Kyle Dole and Ryan Treviskas along with half back Andy Herriott from Salisbury, brother of Blues’ Ian.
Tadley Tigers are also in action tonight when they take two teams to Petersfield.
