Unlucky seven as Redcliffians run in six tries at Monks Lane
NEWBURY BLUES slumped to their seventh straight defeat of this season after going down 34-12 at home to Old Redcliffians to remain stuck in the bottom two in Division Three South and West.
Despite getting off to a solid start with a converted try from Oscar Matthews, they trailed 22-12 at the interval with Matthews running in a second touchdown for the home side.
But Two more tries after the break took Redcliffians' tally to six, leaving Newbury with only Bridgwater and Albion beneath them in the table on points difference.
