Blues lose at the one-two

RUGBY: Tadley, Thatcham and Aldermaston all get off the mark but it's still a blank for Newbury

NEWBURY Blues are still looking for a win and a point after their second successive defeat in Division Three South West, going down 30-8 at Oxford Harlequins on Saturday.

Prop Ben Louisson scored Newbury's try and Oscar Matthews a penalty.

TADLEY started their Southern Counties North campaign with a 15-5 home win over Aylesbury, and there were big wins for THATCHAM and ALDERMAST. Hungerford lost 11-7 at home to Littlemore, and Kingsclere went down 39-7 at Aylesbury Athletic in the BB and O Championship.
