Bratt takes on Town dual role
Newbury and Hungerford reserve team managers step down
THATCHAM TOWN have promoted from within to make Will Bratt the club's new player-coach.
The defender will join Gary Ackling and Jason Braidwood in the Town coaching set-up after they opted against bringing in someone from outside.
"Will has his badges," said Ackling, "and works in sports science at Reading.
"We decided it would be best to appoint from within with someone who knows the club and the players."
Meanwhile, there have been managerial changes at Hellenic Legaue Newbury, where Vic Hauston has stepped down after a season in charge. He will undertake a new role within the club, which has commenced the search for a new number one.
And Hungerford Town are also looking for a new reserve team manager after Ian Concannon resigned last week.
