Burghfield Sunday 1st are into the second round of the FA Sunday Cup after defeating Singh Sabha Slough at 1878 Stadium, Burnham, on Sunday afternoon after a 4-3 victory.

Making their debut in the country's biggest national Sunday league knock-out tournament, Josh Howell put Burghfield in front from the penalty spot before Jack Bowyer doubled their lead with 30 minutes played.

Early into the second-half Ollie Brown made it three with a good finish, but Singh Sabha replied instantly to reduce their lead to one goal again.

The hosts began to apply more pressure as the game drew to a close, before drawing level when a crossed free-kick went straight in as stoppage-time approached.

With the game looking as though it would be decided by penalties, a dramatic finish followed deep into added time, as Ryan Farmer rose highest to meet a free-kick into the box and beat the Singh Sabha goalkeeper and send them through to the next round.

Banstead Rovers will come up against Burghfield on Sunday, January 16, with the tie to take place at the 1878 stadium and it will be a 1pm kick-off.
