The 26-year old former member of the Newbury-based Banjo Cycles team earned his 1st Category road licence last year and has been rewarded with a place on the new 10-strong squad.
The Madison team mixed youth and experience and sprint specialist Snook will ride alongside Dean Downing, Andy Tennant, Ian Bibby, Sebastian Baylis, Alex Peters, Brennan Townshend, Dominic Jelfs, Jack Pullar and Liam Holohan as the team ventures into top class action after being unveiled at the London Bike Show last week.
That starts this week in the four-stage Challenge Mallorca race, in which Wiggins and his Sky team will be competing.
It is a testing debut for the first-year professional, who also holds down a press officer’s job with Madison.
