Carl joins brother Craig in depleted Berkshire ranks to start new Knock-Out campaign

CARL Crowe makes a rapid return to the Berkshire ranks for the county's opening MCCA Trophy match with Suffolk at Henley on Sunday.

The off-spinner and former county professional left to take up a coaching appointment with the England women's squad, but with a number of players unavailable, Crowe has agreed to step into the breach to join brother Craig (pictured) and assist his former county.

There are also recalls for Falkland all-rounder James Morris, Barnt Green batsman Dan Shilvock and Reading youngsters Jamie Hoddle and Shelvin Gumbs.
