Delayed start for Lord's final




A wet outfield has delayed the start of the MCCA Knock-Out Trophy final between Berkshire and Hertfordshire at Lord's

Play is now expected to start at 1.30pm, with the match being reduced to 36 overs per side.

THE start to Berkshire's MCCA Knock-out Trophy Final with Hertfordshire at Lord's has been delayed due to the wet conditions.

Play was due to start at 11am, but rain and a wet outfield has delayed the start to the match.

It is hoped that play could start at about 3pm, although the number of overs is likely to be considerably reduced from the expected 50 overs per side.
