RUGBY: Top try scorer Gaelle on the bench against The Midlands
NEWBURY Ladies' Gaelle Marcassus has been selected for the South West senior women's squad for this seasoon's divisonal programme.
The 'import' from French club FC Auch Lectoure Gers has run in 20 tries in nine league matches for Newbury this season and will be on the bench when the divisional side plays the Midlands at Whitchurch in Shropshire on Sunday.
Bracknell's Jessica Irvine and Henley's Elizabeth Lennox are the other Thames Valley-based players in the squad, which will play one of its three diviiosnla matches against London and the South East at Newbury's Monks Lane on February 26.
