Falkland Women book their place in National Final
Falkland Women’s 1st XI have booked their place in the ECB Vitality National Women’s Club T20 Plate Final.
The side earned their spot in the final following a thrilling run of victories.
Having clinched the Regional Final against Slough CC, they went on to defeat Dorset club Broadstone CC in the National Semi-final on 3rd August.
Falkland will be aiming to crown a remarkable season by bringing home the title when they face Leyland CC from Lancashire in the National Final.
The match will be played on Sunday 17th August, starting at 11am.
It will be held at the Sir Paul Getty Ground at Wormsley, near Stokenchurch, regarded as one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in England.

The side have also been in good form in the Home Counties Women’s Cricket League this season.
Playing in the top division, the side boast a record of six wins from their eleven fixtures so far.
They sit fourth of the eight-team Premier Division, only narrowly losing to Beaconsfield last time out by two wickets.
Laura Scheiwe has starred this season, sitting second in the league’s batting charts with 861 runs scored.
Lottie Aird, Holly Rider and Izzy Storrar also make the top ten, with totals of 376, 316 and 282 so far.
Falkland will be hoping that their batting prowess shines through on Sunday as they aim for national glory.
