Grays day or Casuals afternoon for Hungerford




FA Trophy draw throw up a trip to Ryman Leaguers on December 12

HUNGERFORD Town will hit the road in the First Round Proper of the FA Trophy after being handed a trip to the winners of Wednesday night’s Third Qualifying Round replay between Corinthian Casuals and Grays Athletic.

The Ryman League teams drew 0-0 in Essex on Sunday and will meet at Casuals’ Tolworth home with the winners facing Hungerford on December 12.

Grays now play their home games at fellow Essex club Aveley.

Hungerford manager Bobby Wilkinson was satisfied with the draw, especially after seeing some of the other ties.

"It gives us a chance," he said. "It's away and tough, but they are both winnable. I'll take that."
