Hopkins spent his formative years in the Reading academy before playing at Didcot Town and North Leigh prior to join in Banbury early this year.
He sustained a broken ankle before the end of the campaign but has recovered and the left-sided player will join up with Hungerford at pre-season training.
Veteran Gary Horgan, Matt Day, Harry Goodger, Bradley Gray and Dean Stow are the first of last season’s squad to re-sign for the club.
Former

manager Neville Roach has joined Hellenic League Highmoor Ibis as an assistant to manager Shane Small-King.
