Hungerford aim for Wycombe cup date

Trip to Wanderers' Adams Park awaits winners of tonight's Berks and Bucks Senior Cup tie

HUNGERFORD TOWN play their delayed Berks and Bucks Cup tie with Burnham tonight (Tuesday) with the trip to Adams Park to face Wycombe Wanderers in the semi-finals awaiting the winners.

Last week's original tie was abandoned after only 10 minutes, just after Luke Hopper had put Hungerford ahead and the teams will try aganst Bulpit Lane with a 7.30pm kick off.

Burnham beat Daventry Town 3-0 in a league outing on Saturday, while Hungerford won 1-0 at Bridgwater Town and manager Bobby Wilkinson plans to play a strong side.

"We want to go to Adams Park," he said. ""I'll put out a strong side, with just one or two changes to give other lads a chance."
