FA Trophy: Hungerford Town host National League side Weymouth in third round

Hungerford Town will host National League side Weymouth in the third round of the Buildbase FA Trophy after the draw was made on Monday afternoon.

The Crusaders have reached this stage of the competition after a 3-2 victory over Welling United at Bulpit Lane on Saturday.

Welling opened the scoring in the first-half as Ademola Shokunbi got on the end of a corner from Che Krabbendam, but Ryan Seager drew Hungerford level a minute later.

Mason Saunders-Henry restored Welling's lead, but two goals in the final 10 minutes from George Smith and Rhys Tyler sent the Crusaders into the next round, where they meet Weymouth who are sitting 19th in the National League.

The game will be played at Bulpit Lane on Saturday, December 18.

The winners of the game will receive £4,500, while the losing sides will pick up £1,250.
