Hungerford had the bonus of an eighth minute goal when Stefan Brown struck from close, range and the stretched their lead after 32 minutes when Nat Jarvis hammered in a shot that George Legg could not hold and the rebound spun home off defender Laurie Stewart.

Paul Strudley to make two sharp saves to deny the visitors, but Hungerford moved furtehr clear eaqrly in the second half when James Rusby was manhandled in the box and Jarvis tucked home the resulting penalty.

But Chesham took charge when Bossman nodded home on the hour mark and Ryan Blake might have hit the target and Matt Taylor hit Strudley as Hungerford shut up shop to keep the points.
